The heat from the sun makes the whole house warm and now we only have to light a fire in the morning and in the evening. I do the sun dance ones every day...I prefer dancing with some good children music in the background...lala lala

I always thinks my dad looks great but apparently my mum had had enough of this relax way of looking. "there is a need for a renovation" she said to all our friends....my dad was shaking his head knowing that the time had come.....

My mother she took out the scissor and quickly she had already cut half of daddy's hair...there were no turning back at that point. 10 minutes later she was very happy seeing him this clean and handsome.

1 year old!

I am a big girl now. I have survived a stomach bug, and my parents have survived several. I am also one year old now! Thank you all for the nice presents and birth day cards. I really liked it and I had a great birthday with my friends.

I know I know. it is very cold out there ..but seriously can someone PLEASE invent a bag that is fast to put on so my dad doesn't have to spend 10 minutes of my precious time each time we are going out for a walk. hat, mittens, two different warm shoes, scarf and snow suit...ugghhh

Hockey tournament at Craigs house boat

This is one big event in the end of January. All the happy people, happy dogs and happy babies gather at Craig' house boat (Craig =Lisa Scott's brother, and Lisa is my uncle Chris' Fiancé). Every year Craig and his friends prepare a hockey rink by his house boat( it is a boat that floats on Great slave lake, close shore, in the winter everything freezes and he can park his car by the boat).
Dad's team, "Trailer trash", won one game , and daddy scored two goals, one for each girl :)

When you have played hockey at rink an stomach starts to gurrrgrrr. Then you ask the barbecue man what is ready and he will hand you something to eat. Mummy also brought hot chocolate for daddy. They are so cute with each other....

My mum says "ohhh... no... you shouldn't... but well... i don't want to ruin your inspiration". I don't know what she is on about but I like to discover our big house. So I started off in the kitchen. All the cupboards and drawers, I take out everything, pots, food, important papers and then I don't put them back, it is great fun!! and THEN mummy plays with me and SHE puts it all back into the "right place".

Cold weather

When we came back to Yellowknife it was really cold....this day when we were out walking with Elsbeth, Leif and the dogs molly and annie it was -35! burr ...but I don't really know because is I was sleeping in the toboggan with 5 blankets over me.

Suprise!

Mormor and morfar suprised me by arriving to the English speaking continent...the flew on wings just like mum and I did over the Atlantic! I was so happy to see them and what I nice new year we had all together in Rose bay!
